Team Hat

Our flagship performance hat, designed for big days and years of use.

The Team Hat is a tank in the world of dinky run hats. Why do bungees need to be so delicate? Have you ever thought wow I'd benefit from weight savings in my hat? No- fuck no you haven't. The world has it all wrong and you are being sold into a spiral of weight shaving oblivion. The Team Hat is a performance hat that actually looks at home as a daily driver mostly because it has the shape and styling of an actually good looking normal hat. It features a low crown shape that doesn't sit up high and really feels modern. There are two versions of this hat. The black version features a monofilment mesh back and the bone version has continuous nylon. Both breath great one offers more elemental protection and the other a bit more vent.

Team Soft Flask - Locking

Essential hydration equipment.

Built at the request of our athlete partners, the locking version of our Team Soft Flask builds on the foundation of the original version by adding a locking valve for confidence when carrying in a run belt or tucked inside a summit pack. The locking Team Soft Flask was designed to meet the performance and aesthetic standards of mountain athletes and CBCS team. Sold individually or in pairs for a slight discount.

Quick Lock Valve

The mechanism is simple and intuitive- just twist. Our locking mechanism is built in the face itself, no extra levers or components. Why does this matter? The valve can be twisted open and closed with a single hand or with your mouth by gently biting the valve and rotating open and closed. It rules. No fucking around with weird components as you’re half dead mid outing or freaking out before the scary section and grabbing a few anxiety sips. There is a small open/closed indicator but seriously don’t look at that: Righty tighty- lefty loosey is your friend.

Modularity

The bottle features a fully removable bite valve casing. The soft part of the bite valve is fully interchangeable with Hydrapak components allowing for users to swap based on preference. Here’s the deal, ours kick ass but with the added durability comes a bit more firm feel. It’s ok if you’re soft- swap judgement free.

All CBCS soft flasks components are fully compatible with past versions. These lids share the exact dimensions of the non lockers.

Extra Large Opening

The bottle opening is a bit larger than what is currently available from major brands. Honestly, why the fuck wouldn't you want a bigger opening for mixing in powders and cleaning the soft flask? Given there's no good reason not to, we opted for this feature.

The Team Socks represent the peak expression of Can't Buy Cool Studios- zero compromise performance attributes where they matter and the highest aesthetic considerations whenever possible. The upper ankle area gives the look and feel of a classic 50s cotton athletic sock while the foot area is a performance powerhouse, utilizing targeted zones for breathability and cushioning in a full synthetic material package. This is some real Frankenstein shit- a freaky mashup in the best way.

A true hybrid.

The socks originated from a pair of cheap retro styled cotton socks. A favorite of the studio, these super thick ribbed striped socks found their way into daily runs, Here's the thing, they looked fuckin' cool but the performance was dogshit. Running in cotton might be the selling point of some current running brands but that damn sure doesn't make sense for socks. And from here the idea was born. What if we can create the look and feel of those cotton socks up top but with mega performance attributes on the actual foot area? That's what we did.

Somebody made these socks.

Truly, many people had a hand in bringing this product to life. From the designer, to the factory partners and others, it is a group effort. The Studio requests details from all manufacturing partners on who is physically making ideas become things. Yunfei Zhu runs the line that produced these socks. Why does that matter? You're not going to send them a letter or buy them a coffee. That's true however we believe it matters to put a name to a product and understand the process is comprised of people.  If you don't like the socks, don't blame us, you know who to look up.
