This is the shirt for long distance running. This is a real stealth bomber of a top. It is wildly minimal but if you pay attention there is quite a bit in the details. When you pop the hood on this thing (put ur eyes near the fabric or read the product copy) you start to see the range of this piece.
The idea came to us on a run on Mount Morrison. Like a lot of things we make, it came from a desire to have out cake and eat it too- so to speak. We love the idea of going shirtless but thats not practical on long days with vests. If we had to wear a shirt, what would be the most minimal shape and what would be the best fabric choice for BIG days that could end up going beyond the 24 hour mark?
The Thrash Tee was designed around two principles.
The first was material. Find the best fabric we could for managing heat and moisture over long-distance efforts—hours of sustained movement, changing output, and a body that is going to keep sweating.
The second was shape. Remove every piece of fabric that wasn’t doing a job, while keeping the exact coverage needed for wearing a running vest and reducing friction over long distances.
Those two ideas shaped the entire shirt.
Polartec® Delta™ handles the first problem.
The silhouette handles the second.
01 / MATERIAL
We started with Polartec® Delta™.
Delta™ is an evaporative-cooling fabric developed for high-output use in warm conditions. Rather than treating sweat as something that needs to disappear immediately, the fabric is designed to work with the body’s natural cooling process.
Its construction manages how moisture moves through the textile while maintaining airflow, supporting evaporation and helping reduce the wet cling that develops as conventional fabrics become saturated.
That matters more as the hours add up.
A fabric can feel light and comfortable during the first thirty minutes of a run. The harder problem is what happens several hours later, once sweat has accumulated, output has changed repeatedly, and a running vest has been sitting against the body all day.
We wanted a material for that part of the run.
02 / SILHOUETTE
Then we looked at where fabric was actually necessary.
The goal wasn’t to make the smallest possible shirt. It was to remove everything that wasn’t doing a job without removing coverage that still mattered.
That distinction is especially important when wearing a running vest.
A traditional singlet narrows through the shoulders and opens deeply around the armholes. Under a vest, that can leave straps sitting directly against bare skin and expose more of the underarm and side body to friction.
The Thrash Tee does the opposite.
The shoulders are intentionally wide enough to extend beyond typical running-vest straps, maintaining a layer of fabric between the vest and skin.
The armholes are cut higher than a traditional singlet, keeping more coverage through the underarm and side body. Over long distances, that helps reduce exposed areas where skin-to-skin and skin-to-vest rubbing can become a problem.
The body is cropped to finish around the waistband. Enough length to maintain the coverage we wanted, without carrying unnecessary fabric farther down the torso.
The fit is slightly boxier through the upper body to preserve that shoulder and side-body coverage without adding sleeves.

POLARTEC® DELTA™
EVAPORATIVE COOLING FOR LONG EFFORTS
Sweat is part of the body’s cooling system.
Polartec® Delta™ is designed around that fact.
Its specialized construction helps manage moisture through the fabric while maintaining airflow across the body. As moisture evaporates, it carries heat away from the skin, while the structure of the textile helps reduce the heavy, stuck-to-skin feeling that can develop as a shirt becomes saturated.
MOISTURE MANAGEMENT
Controls and disperses moisture through the textile during sustained effort.
AIRFLOW
Highly breathable construction allows air to continue moving through the fabric.
EVAPORATIVE COOLING
Moisture and airflow work together with the body’s natural cooling process.
REDUCED CLING
Helps reduce the way saturated fabric collapses against the skin.
SIZING AND FIT
The Thrash Tee has a cropped, slightly boxy fit with intentionally close grading through the chest and shoulders.
The shoulders are cut wide and the armholes sit higher than a traditional singlet to maintain coverage around common vest-contact and friction zones. The body is intentionally short, finishing around the waistband.
The fabric has significant stretch, so the measurements below represent the garment relaxed and unstretched.
S, M, and L remain intentionally close in width to preserve the silhouette, with length providing more of the size progression. XL receives a larger overall grade to accommodate broader chest and shoulder dimensions.
